Job Summary: Assistant Finance Manager

The Assistant Finance Manager supports the Finance Manager in overseeing daily financial operations, preparing financial reports, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role plays a key part in strategic planning and financial decision-making, helping maintain the financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Support the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Monitor company financial performance and analyze variances against budget.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
• Assist with internal and external audits and resolve audit findings.
• Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
• Coordinate with other departments to collect financial data and provide financial guidance.
• Help implement and improve financial controls and reporting systems.
• Supervise and support junior finance staff.

Job Requirements

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or ACCA is a plus).
• Language Skills:
  • Proficiency in English language
• Experience:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in financial management or accounting.
• Skills:
  •  Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting practices.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally) and Microsoft Excel.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and team leadership skills.
